![]() Indeed I use that same mod so space isn't an issue. wouldn't mind WC turning some of them into farmers, boosters and passive guys. Hopefully ASA is more balanced in that sense. and yes, there's a comprehensive list on wiki. OP mentioned dino storage mod, and that specifically, i'm familiar with and have probably a few hundred dinos working their magic right now. Now, it's completely different when you have mods and can have them in a storage producing goods. having all those dinos out needing maintenance is a drag. snails for example stop producing once a stack is full, which is nothing compared to them only eating veggy cakes. Originally posted by 123:farming is generally faster than vanilla passive generation. and I was surprised that I did not find it with a quick google search. I was wondering if I owned all creatures that can produce something and if I do, if I'm actually making use of them all. The goal is not to skip the grind as I have already put over 700 hours into my current savegame. You can call it curiosity or putting what I have to good use. Currently have tamed over 80% of them, from all official maps (including Fjordur and such) including their variants, at max possible level. I am collecting all creatures in the game. I know about gatherers (as for the berries example, plenty of creatures can do the trick but a Tek Stryder is king with as much as it can gather, if you use the SS mod). It seems to me like that should be somewhere already but as I stated I did not find it. I simply want a list of creatures that can passively produce stuff. The vanilla game really doesn't want to allow 100% static progression. You might be right, but if the goal is to avoid as much work - gathering - as possible because that is contrary to a person's enjoyment, then it seems to me the more sensible approach is to focus on finding and adding mods that accomplish this in addition or instead of. I think that they were asking for a list of creatures that produce resources or convert them, not just gatherers. Megachelon passively produce rare flowers & mushrooms (thanks DreadCthulhu!) ![]() Iguanodon I think can turn crops or berries back into seeds? I never use it, seeds just accumulate by playing Dung Beetles can convert feces in their inventories into fertilizer Ovis/sheep can be sheared with scissors to get wool Snow owls poop owl pallets which can be fed to gachas I know they eat stone or owl pellets and I have pellets aplenty) Gachas can produce all manner of resources (but I have never used a gacha yet so I would need to read up on how it works. Tek Stryder poops element shards into dino storage v2 terminals (mod only afaik) Can't think of the creature name right now. I think the squids too but that oil can spoil. Achatina produces cementing paste and organic polymer (honestly not sure if they must be set to wonder and if they produce it passively with dino storage v2 if you use mods) Phoenix poops pearls (I believe normal ones, but rarely also black ones) In case it doesn't, maybe someone can come up with a few that I can't think of off the top of my head: I have Googled for it but I could not find some complete list of creatures that produce resources. Unlike their normal counterparts, Tek Creatures drop Electronics, Element Dust, Oil, and Scrap Metal. This list gives a nice overview and includes Kraken's Better Dinos and No Untameables (thanks 123!): Tek Creatures are the only types of their creature counterparts that will spawn in the Lunar biome of Genesis, making this a useful area to farm them as tames. If the bonus levels are as evenly distributed as possible, the tamed Tek Creature can have all of its base levels in each stat in the low 50's: a level average that often requires extensive super-breeding efforts in their normal counterparts to achieve. If you manage to complete the taming process at maximum efficiency, the level boost can result in a tame that is roughly 269 in level. ![]() Tek Creatures can only mate with other Tek Creatures and cannot mate with normal Creatures.Īlthough a max level of 180 (only 30 levels higher than the max level of 150 of the normal wild counterparts) may not seem like much of a difference initially, if you are lucky enough to find one, it is always a good idea to tame such a Tek Creature. They have a chance of 5% to spawn instead of their normal counterpart. on difficulty 5 (max level 150) they will spawn up to level 180. Tek Creatures spawn at a 20% higher level, i.e. Tek Creatures are a variant of normal Creatures that were added permanently as part of the Extinction Chronicles event (exceptions being the Tek Triceratops, which was released as part of Genesis, the Voidwyrm, which was released as part of Genesis: Part 2 and the Tek Giganotosaurus which is unobtainable unless using Console commands).
